Information for Applicants

The LENScience-NRCGD Summer Scholarships provide opportunities for undergraduate students to develop leadership and research skills.

Scholarship recipients will participate as student mentor-leaders in the LENScience Bio-Med Summer Programme for Year 13 students.

Selected recipients will go on to participate in a summer research project under the supervision of National Research Centre for Growth and Development (NRCGD) scientists.

All students will have the opportunity to receive ongoing mentoring support from NRCGD scientists during their undergraduate study.

Up to six Mentorship Scholarships and four Studentship Scholarships will be awarded in 2011.

The recipient of the NRCGD Judge Mick Brown Award will be selected from the successful scholarship recipients.
